This snowberry has attractive, arching stems, and forms an upright to mounding habit. It grows 4 to 6 feet tall and wide. Leaves are small and oval, with a soft green to blue-green color. White late spring flowers are followed in the summer by clusters of white fruit, which are persistent into the fall and early winter. Provides nice interest in a foundation planting, shrub border, or for erosion control.

Plant in full sun to mostly shade in nearly any garden soil as long as it is well drained. Prune hard every few years to renovate and control height. The fruit, while unpalatable to people, is highly valued by birds and other wildlife.
