Pink anemone clematis is a vigorous growing vine that may grow to 20 feet or more. It has a profusion of warm pink, fragrant flowers that are produced in late spring to early summer. Leaves emerge tinged in purple and mature to a bronzy, deep green. Provide ample space, such as a fence, pergola, or small building. Deciduous.
Grow in sun to part shade, in loamy, well-drained soils. It is a twining vine so provide support. Doesn't require pruning, but to control growth or tidy it up, prune after flowering, cutting back by about a third.
