Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.

  • Description

  • Notes

This vigorous tree grows 40 to 50 feet tall and 20 to 30 feet wide, and provides 6 inch long clusters of soft-pink flowers in late spring. Wide-spreading light summer shade for very little care; a tough & adaptable tree. Light Pink Locust has smaller thorns than other locust, but it is not without them. Because of compound leaves, shade is filtered and dappled.
