This is an evergreen multi-branched shrub 5 to 6 feet tall and 8 to 10 feet wide. It has a rounded form, leathery green leaves, and smooth, dark red-purple bark. The flowers are bell shaped, pink, and appear April through June. Dark brown to black fruit follows. An attractive specimen. A Utah native.
