Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.

Black sagebrush is a Utah native, inhabiting open slopes in shrub-steppe and cool desert plant communities. It has a dense, rounded, compact habit, growing about 1 to 2 feet tall and wide. Its foliage is evergreen, silver to blue-green, with silvery hairs. Bark is grey-brown and twisted. Plant is highly aromatic. A nice sagebrush for the urban landscape due to its tidy habit and compact size.
