Silverlace is a deciduous, fast growing, twining vine that can grow 25 to 35 feet or more. It has bright green leaves leaves and panicles of greenish-white flowers that bloom throughout the summer and are fragrant. As a twining vine, it needs support to get going, but can cover a fence, garage, or house with little effort.
Grows in sun or shade, in nearly any kind of soil. It spreads by rhizomes. This vine, while it has its merits for tough sites, may not be the best choice for small gardens or those landscapes that are adjacent to our wildland/urban interfaces, such as those along stream corridors and i nthe foothills.
