Tatarian Honeysuckle is a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with an upright and arching habit, dense and twiggy, growing about 10 to 12 feet tall and wide. Foliage is ovate and blue-green in color with no fall color. Flowers are white to rose-pink, blooming in May, and followed by berries that ripen to red in July and August.

Grow in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Adaptive to soil types and pH. Prune after flowering. May be prone to aphids. Self-sows, and so may become invasive in ideal circumstances; avoid using in riparian corridor areas.
