Himalayan fleeceflower is a moderately growing groundcover with a height of about 10 to 12 inches, and a spread of 2 feet or more. It has heart to arrow shaped leaves, deep green though sometimes with reddish mottling. Flowers are pale to deep pink, and appear in tight little spires, about 2 to 3 inches long from mid-summer into early fall. This is a spreading plant, so place it were that attribute will be appreciated.
Prefers rich, loamy soils that are a bit moisture retentive. Tolerates neutral to slightly alkaline conditions. Best planted in part to full shade; it is already a little water-hoggish and in full sun it's water needs increase.
