Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

Creeping Norway spruce is a low growing evergreen with a pendulous, sprawling habit, growing about 3 feet tall and trailing about 10 feet (it can be staked to be taller). This evergreen is a a great choice for the rock garden, as its low profile offers bright green emerald color on a slowly spreading plant. Branches are distributed in graceful layers. Well suited for banks, walls, and around boulders.
