Diablo Ninebark is a small, dense upright shrub, growing about 5 to 6 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide. The foliage emerges reddish, matures to green, and turns yellow in the fall. White flowers open in late spring. Its narrow habit makes it a nice choice for a hedge.

Grow in well drained soil in full sun to light shade. Adaptive to soil type, as long as it is well draining. Prune selectively after blooming to control height if necessary; prune to renovate in late winter (see Guides).
