Water Saving Tip:

Even though it's hot, your lawn only needs to be watered twice a week to stay healthy.

And don't water the whole lawn for a brown spot—drag out a hose.

  • Description

  • Notes

This garden sage has the same aromatic quality, with the bonus of luminescent green leaves with wide golden margin. Grows smaller than the species, reaching 1 to 2 feet tall and wide. Not as flowerful as the species, but the foliage is showy.
Happiest in well-drained soil and full sun. After a few years, the foliage may begin to revert to the classic grey-green of the species; pruning out the wood that displays the gray foliage can help. Can be drought resistant. A culinary herb.
