Water Saving Tip:

Even though it's hot, your lawn only needs to be watered twice a week to stay healthy.

And don't water the whole lawn for a brown spot—drag out a hose.

Royalty crabapple is an upright crab growing to about 15 to 20 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet wide. It has crimson, almost purple flowers followed by dark, red-purple fruit. Leaves are glossy purple in the spring, purple-green in summer, and brilliant purple in the fall. The fruit of Royalty is not persistent, so this cultivar is best planted where the falling fruit won't make a mess, for instance, in a shrub border or surrounded by a tallish groundcover.
