Honeywood Serviceberry is a selection of Saskatoon Serviceberry exhibiting larger and heavier fruit set. Fruits a little later than other varieties, with large, abundant white flowers appearing in April or May, and edible fruit ripening in June or July. Leaves are oval and a dull green, but have a lovely yellow to orange fall color. Grows about 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide.

Grows in well drained soils in full sun to light shade. Adaptable to soil types, including sandy, loamy, or clay soils. Grows in acid, neutral, and alkaline soils. Best fruit will occur with regular watering, but it is drought tolerant. Does not require a pollinator.
