'Siskiyou' is a O. s. selection with rosy pink, day-blooming flowers, a low profile (8 to 10 inches tall) and a strong constitution. Blooms May through August. Spreads rapidly, so best use is in open areas, slopes, and parkstrips.
Grow in full sun in well drained soil. Tolerates clay or sandy soils, as long as they are well drained. Frost tolerant to 10 F. Though drought tolerant, the plants will bloom over a longer season if they receive periodic watering, though over-watering may result in diminished vigor and flowering.
