Upright slender, arching branches create a fountain-like form. Blue-green leaves have a delicate appearance; reddish to russet fall color. Showy white flower cascade in clusters along the lengths of the branches in spring. Grows 6 to 8 feet tall (sometimes taller) and nearly as wide.

An old fashioned spirea, give it the room it needs to take full advantage of its lovely, fountain-like form. To maintain its form, prune selectively by removing the tallest branches in late winter, or by cutting it in its entirety nearly to the ground right after blooms fade.
