'Hornibrookii' is a low-growing evergreen groundcover, growing 12 to 18 inches tall and 3 to 4 feet across. It has a slightly upward ascending habit, giving it a layered appearance. It has short, sharp needles with a silver-white band above and green underneath. Summer color is a rich silver-green, turning brownish over the winter months.
