A selection of western mockorange, with the same deciduous, upright to rounded habit, growing about 6 to 8 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide. Unlike the species, this variety has double-petaled flowers, giving it an exotic look. Flowers are fragrant and appear late May to early June. Foliage is a medium to dull green with yellow fall color. A good addtion to the shrub border.
Grow in well drained, loamy soil in full sun to light, filtered shade. Adapted to gravelly and rocky soils. Adaptive to moderately high soil pH. If pruning is necessary, do so selectively, or perform renovative pruning after blooming (see Guides).
