Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

Sarabande is a medium-sized maidengrass, forming an upright, mounded clump about 4 to 5 feet tall and wide. Foliage is finely textured, thin, and green, with a white mid-rib that gives the grass a silvery quality. Plumes emerge late summer and are reddish-brown. The whole plant turns tawny with the first hard frost.
