Water Saving Tip:

Even though it's hot, your lawn only needs to be watered twice a week to stay healthy.

And don't water the whole lawn for a brown spot—drag out a hose.

  • Notes

This dependable perennial has thin, strap-like, grass-like leaves reaching 12 to 18 inches tall. Bright yellow flowers are high above the foliage, making the overall height of this plant about 20 inches tall. A reblooming daylily, it has its heaviest flowering in early summer, but blooms off and on all summer long.
