Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.

  • Description

  • Notes

This ginkgo selection has an open branched, upright habit that provides light, filtered shade. The leaves are a fan-shaped and soft green, turning a lovely yellow in the fall. When the leaves do drop, they drop rapidly, forming a golden carpet around the tree. Deciduous. Grows 35 to 50 feet tall and wide, though it will get there slowly. 'Saratoga' is a male selection and produces no fruit.
