Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

Rose-of-Sharon is a deciduous shrub with an upright, dense form in its youth, becoming more open and spreading with age. 'Diana' has large, single-petaled flowers of pure white. Foliage is bright green and unevenly serrated. Rose-of-Sharon makes an excellent addition to the shrub border, or as a hedge or screen. Moderate grower to 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide.
