Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.

Rose-of-Sharon is a deciduous shrub with an upright, dense form in its youth, becoming more open and spreading with age. 'Oiseau Blue' has large, single-petaled flowers of violet blue with a red eye. Foliage is bright green and unevenly serrated. Rose-of-Sharon makes an excellent addition to the shrub border, or as a hedge or screen. Moderate grower to 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide.
