Hollyhock mallow is a dense, bushy perennial with deeply lobed, rich green leaves covered in pastel pink flowers from late spring until the end of summer. It forms a clump about 30 to 36 inches tall and 24 to 30 inches wide.
Plant in full to part sun in well drained soil. It adapts to most soil types and tolerates brief periods of drought. It is short-lived, but will self-seed. If this notion disturbs you, remove spent flowers before seeds set. Otherwise, a low maintenance perennial.
