Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.

  • Notes

Dusty Miller is grown for it's lovely, silvery foliage that provides a perfect bridge between flowering seasons and buffers between competing colors. Size and leaf character are dependent on variety. An annual, it is cold hardy and frequently over-winters.
Grow in full sun to light shade in well drained, moderate to dry soil. If it gets too much shade, the plant will fade from silver to green. Tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Works equally well in garden beds or containers. If it overwinters, cut back tatty foliage in early spring.
