Rockcress is a lovely little spring bloomer, well suited to rock gardens, parkstrips, or the edges of walks or perennial borders. Mounds of grey-green, evergreen leaves form mats 4 to 6 inches tall and 12 or more inches wide. In mid to late spring, there is a profusion of pink, rose, lavender, or white flowers, depending on the cultivar. If snipped after blooming, the mats have a tidy appearance all summer long.
