Water Saving Tip:

Apply as little fertilizer as possible.

If you use fertilizer make sure it stays on the landscape, and carefully water it in so there is NO runoff.

  • Description

  • Notes

This dwarf evergreen has tight, many-layered branches that create a nest-like form. Grows slowly to 3 to 5 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide. The candles are bright green and ball like. Mature needles are dark green. Use as an accent, or in a shrub, foundation, or perennial border to provide winter interest.
Grow in average, well-drained soil in full sun. Prefers sandy-loam soils, but will tolerate light shade and clay soils. This is an excellent selection for foundations, rock gardens, path edgings or as a small garden specimen. Do not shear or prune.
