This perennial grows to form a small, dense mat with a display of daisy-like flowers with white petals and yellow eyes. The flowers close in the evening and on overcast days, revealing a lovely red underside. Foliage is highly serrated and ferny, and is a soft green to green-grey color. A good plant for edging gravel pathways where it will reseed itself and colonize the area. Grows to about 3 inches tall and 12 to 18 inches wide, though if happy, it may reseed.
Grow in full sun and well drained soil. Over-watering or damp soils will spell its demise. Generally doesn't require deadheading, though you may if you're fussy about those kinds of things. Parkstrip Area Value of 1.75 sf.
