This hardy little perennial is mostly grown for its foliage, which is deeply cut and silvery grey in color. It forms a dense form about 8 to 10 inches tall and 10 to 18 inches across. Little yellow flowers appear in June and July. Its a lovely contrast to green-leafed groundcovers such as thyme and germander. It would also be a good choice for a sunny parkstrip. There is a lovely stand of Partridge Feather in the Washington Square Demonstration Garden.
