Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

Flowering tobacco is a charming annual that bloom from early summer until frost. They are available in a wide range of colors, though mostly in the reds, pinks, and purples, though there are also white, yellow, and green varieties. Flowers are star-like, and foliage is large, somewhat coarse, and soft grey in color. Due to modern hybridization, the fragrance has mostly been bred out; however, some still have the lovely, clove-like scent - check plant tag or seed packet.
