Water Saving Tip:

Fix leaking sprinklers, valves, and pipes.

One broken spray sprinkler can waste 10 gallons per minute - or 100 gallons in a typical 10 minute watering cycle.

This is such a cool little annual. Gomphrena has clover-like flowers above mounding, finely textured green foliage. Flower colors include purple, pink, orange, red, and white. Height varies with variety, from 10 to 24 inches tall and about two-thirds the width. Great for containers in sunny spots. The flowers cut well, and hold their color as they dry.
Prefers sandy to clay loams, well draining. Full sun and will do well in hotter sites. Though a lower water annual, keep in mind that containers dry out more rapidly than does the soil in the ground, so containers may need watering more frequently.
