Geums are a charming group of perennials well suited to the front of the perennial border or a rock garden. They typically grow about 12 to 15 inches tall and wide, with basal rosettes of foliage of soft green, velvety leaves. 'Mrs. Bradshaw' has vivid scarlet orange, double-petaled blossoms from late May through July.
Grow in well drained soil, a bit on the loamy side, in full sun to a bit of shade. Adaptive to most soil types and pH, as long as it drains well. Geums will bloom over a longer period if they are diligently dead headed.
