Sugar Maple is known for its great fall color, ranging in the reds and oranges, depending on the cultivar. This upright oval to rounded tree may grow to 60 feet tall or more, and 30 to 40 feet wide. Sugar maples have tiny spring flowers that are followed by winged seedpods called sumara.
