Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.

Sugar Maple is known for its great fall color, ranging in the reds and oranges, depending on the cultivar. This upright oval to rounded tree may grow to 60 feet tall or more, and 30 to 40 feet wide. Sugar maples have tiny spring flowers that are followed by winged seedpods called sumara.
Grow in well-drained, moderately moist, fertile-loamy soil. Grow in full sun. Not well suited to alkaline soils or places where it will be exposed to salts.
