Slow-growing, upright Japanese Maple with palmate leaves, which emerge bright red in spring, and age to reddish-bronze and finally green with summer's heat. Fall color is red to orange. New wood is reddish brown, aging to brown. Grows 7 to 10 feet tall and wide, though it will do so slowly.
