Water Saving Tip:

Even though it's hot, your lawn only needs to be watered twice a week to stay healthy.

And don't water the whole lawn for a brown spot—drag out a hose.

'Rose Glow' is a cultivar of Japanese barberry, with a lovely upward, arching habit giving it a graceful form. It grows slowly to about 3 to 6 feet tall and 4 to 7 feet wide. New leaves emerge a rose-pink mottled with bronzish to purplish-red splotches, giving the new foliage a pinkish cast. Leaves mature to a rich red, and fall color is bright red. Small yellow, bell-shaped flowers in spring are followed by shiny red, torpedo-shaped berries in the fall that persist into winter and are loved by birds. A great accent in the shrub or foundaton border, or as a hedge.
