Regent Serviceberry is a selection of Saskatoon Serviceberry exhibiting larger and heavier fruit set. Large, white flowers appear in April or May before the leaves emerge completely. The edible fruit is blueberry-like in appearance, ripening in early summer. Edible out of hand, in preserves, or dried like raisins. Leaves are a dullish green, with yellow to red fall color. Grows about 4 to 6 feet tall and wide; an ideal height for a hedge or screen.
