'Longwood' is a taller cultivar which may reach 4 feet tall and nearly as wide. It has a fragrant, violet-blue flower and appears at the ends of branches, from July through September. Oval to lance-shaped, silvery-gray leaves are slightly toothed, and turn yellow in the fall. Use as a hedge, or in a shrub or foundation border.
