Handsome form of Cedar of Lebanon with gracefully pendulous branches. Sometimes grafted onto dwarf stock to produce small weeping tree so check nursry tag for size. Evergreen. Slow rate of growth. Grey-brown bark becoming pebbly in age; cones are upright, barrel-shaped, purple-brown in color, and 3 to 5 inches long and 2 to 21/2 inches across.
Prefers deep, well-drained, loamy soil. Full sun. Hardy to -15 to -25F, though may experience some die back and needle burn. See Guides for planting tips. Somewhat difficult to transplant, so if you track it down, but the smallest you can endure.
