Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.

Use Tatarian Maple as a large shrub or small multi-stemmed tree. Medium to dark green leaves in the summer; yellow to reddish fall color, usually turning earlier than Amur maple. Slow to medium growth rate, growing 15 to 20 feet tall with a comparable spread. Well suited as a patio tree, or for screening and hedging.
Grow in full to part sun, in well drained soil. Tolerant of adverse conditions, including drought.
