Water Saving Tip:

Fix leaking sprinklers, valves, and pipes.

  • Description

  • Notes

This annual has unique, plume-like flowers in bright, bold colors. Foliage is green to bronze to red, depending on the variety. Size ranges from about 6 to 36 inches, depending on variety. Plant close together for maximum impact. Cuts and dries well.
Grow in rich, well amended soil, though one that is also well draining. Needs consistent, regular watering. Blooms in full sun during the summer months. Feed regularly with a fertilizer high in potassium and phosphorus to encourage continuous bloom.
