  • Notes

Upright, open bell-shaped flowers completely cover the foliage of this late-blooming Campanula for several months in summer. This small plant is suitable for the front of the border or a rock garden. Will eventually spread to create a cover. Numerous cultivars are available. Grows 6 to 12" tall with a 1 to 3' spread.
Grow in full sun to part shade, in well drained, loamy garden soil. Manages with very little water when sheltered from mid day sun. After blooming, you can snip away about a third of the plant, if you'd like a tidier appearance. Otherwise, cut back in late winter to early spring, as new growth emerges.
