Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

This speedwell has charming woolly evergreen leaves that create a dense, grey-green carpet. Slow growing but hardy. Blue flowers with white eyes make quite a show in early spring, completely covering the foliage. Tolerates light foot traffic; is great between pavers or tumbling over low rock walls. Grows 2 inches tall and 15 to 18 inches across.
Grow in sun to part shade in well drained soil. Tolerates soils with low fertility, but dampness or over-watering will rot it out. Deer and rabbit resistent.
