This peashrub has very narrow and linear leaves, almost like needles on a conifer. This gives this small weeper an extremely fine textured appearance. Bright yellow, pea-like flowers appear in spring. Grows about 8 feet tall and wide, though the weeping canopy is well-suited to be underplanted with spring-blooming bulbs such as crocus and dutch iris.
Grow in full sun and well drained soil. Tolerant of many soil types and conditions, even rocky, dry, and alkaline soils. Heat and drought tolerant. Avoid shearing.
